Trojans Hockey

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Founded in 1924, Trojans Hockey is a student-run, student-funded organization at the University of Southern California. The Trojans are members of the PAC-8 Hockey Conference, with sanctioning from USA Hockey, and the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA); the national governing body of non-varsity intercollegiate hockey. Trojans Hockey has seen a great deal of success with 10 PAC-8 championships, the most of all PAC-8 teams. As well, we have won 17 of 22 Crosstown Cups, the trophy awarded to the winner of the 5 games series between USC and UCLA. Trojans Hockey plays from 20 to 25 games locally, nationally and even internationally. In 2002, the Trojans became the first American collegiate hockey team to visit China, and the first to play against their national team. Other past trips included Iceland, Italy and Japan.
